William "Billy" Ellis Harris, Jr.

A memorial service for Mr. William “Billy” Ellis Harris, Jr., age 60 of Manchester, will be conducted at 4:00 PM on Saturday, August 7, 2021, at Manchester Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 3:30 PM until the time of service at the funeral home. Following the service, all are welcome to join in on “Billy’s Last Ride,” as Billy is escorted on motorcycle by his brother from Manchester Funeral Home to his residence where a Celebration of Life will be held by the family. Anyone who rides is welcome to join the procession. Mr. Harris passed from this life surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, August 1, 2021, at his residence in Manchester, TN.

Billy was born in Greeneville, TN, on December 11, 1960, the son of William “Bill” and Deanna Harris. He was a life-long mechanic who loved riding motorcycles. Billy enjoyed going fishing with his family and farming. As a farmer in his early years, he raised prized bulls and hogs, and more recently, chickens, on his farm in Manchester. Billy was very passionate about his family and God. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and Papa, and he will be truly missed by everyone who knew him.

Billy is preceded in death by his father, William “Bill” Ellis Harris, Sr.  He is survived by his mother, Deanna Harris; beloved wife of 35 years, Kathy Jean Harris; daughter, Myranda Harris and husband Roshan Manjunath, their daughter, Skylar; son, William Ellis Harris, III, and wife Amanda, their children, Hailey and Willow; Andrea Paige York and husband David, their children, Charlie and Brooke; son, Preston Tyke Harris; daughter, Ellen Louise Wooten and husband Jay, their children, Xavier and Meadow; and his beloved guardian dog, Max.
