Stephen Lynn Obituary

Stephen Douglas Lynn, age 54, departed this life Friday, April 5, 2024 after a short battle with cancer. Stephen was a longtime resident of Coffee County.

Stephen was born to Katherine Moore Lynn and WB Lynn on October 28, 1969. After graduating Coffee County Central High School he attended what is now called TCAT in McMinnville. Shortly there after, he married Natalie Elrod.

Stephen is survived by his wife of 28 years, Natalie Elrod Lynn, his son, Lucas William Lynn, his brother-in-law, Mike Elrod, and his mother, Katherine Moore Lynn.

Stephen was proceeded in death by his father, WB Lynn.

Stephen had a reputation as a skilled machinist, an avid outdoorsman, a passionate Florida Gators fan, an automotive enthusiast, a loyal friend, and a dedicated family man.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 13, 2024 at Manchester Funeral Home. The family will welcome guests at 2:00 p.m. The celebration of life service begins at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St Jude's Cancer Research or The Dusty Elam Foundation.

Stephen will be remembered for his unique choice of words and phrases, his ability to see the good in things even during his fight with cancer, his devotion to his wife and son, his willingness to become a Christian, and his love for animals, especially his dog Josey.
