Rhonda Gail McCoy- Parsley, age 67, of the Kittrell Community of Murfreesboro, Tennessee (formerly of Manchester, Tennessee) passed away, in the comfort of her home and surrounded by loved ones, on Sunday, June 12, 2022.
Born in Huntsville, Alabama, on August 20, 1954, to the late James L. and Lois McCoy, Rhonda devoted her life to being a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother. She was a former employee with Rutherford County Hospital, where she worked in Labor and Delivery, as a Certified Nursing Technician. She attended the Church of Christ until her health prohibited it, then faithfully watched In Touch with Pastor Charles Stanley every Sunday morning. Rhonda enjoyed scrapbooking, cooking, being with her family and collecting angels. Being adventurous, she loved traveling to the mountains, especially to Gatlinburg, to “hunt” for bears. Rhonda will surely be missed by her loving family and friends.
Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by two daughters, Angelia Dawn Tate and Shannon Christine Parsley; one brother, Ronald Wade McCoy; and one sister, Vicki McCoy Pryor.
Survivors include her loving husband of forty-nine years, Henry “Hank” Parsley, Jr.; one son, Henry “Trey” (Robin) Parsley III; one brother, Donald “Don” (Michelle) McCoy; three grandchildren, Leah Jane Scott, Dylan Maddon Scott and Dominik-Kane Allen Rehder; special niece and caregiver, Misty LeeAnn Spell; and beloved dog, Bella.
