Michael "Mike" Anthony Holder

Michael “Mike” Holder, age 61, of Manchester, Tennessee, passed away at Alive Hospice in Nashville, Tennessee, on Wednesday, August 10, 2022.

Born in Providence, Rhode Island, on February 8, 1961, to the late Charles J. and Linda M. Holder, Jr., Mike devoted his life to being a loving son, brother, father, uncle and friend. A United States Army Veteran, Mike served in Germany, as a medic. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, playing video games and anything pertaining to computers. A funny, charming, practical joker, with a dry sense of humor, Mike will surely be missed by his loving family and friends.

Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by one great grandson, Taylen Skidmore; maternal grandparents, Bill and Mary O’Brien; and paternal grandmother, Mamie Holder.

Survivors include two sons, Joshua Holder and Christopher Poplar; one daughter, Jessica (Stanley) Majors; three brothers, Mark (Angela) Holder, Matt A. (Tammy) Holder and Morgan (Megan) Holder; six grandchildren, Robert, Dakota, Yancy, Kobe, Jack and Allie; and a host of special nieces and nephews.

No services are scheduled at this time, however the family plans on holding Celebration of Life Services, to be determined and announced at a later date.
