Merle Anderson Obituary

Ms. Merle Linda Anderson, was born on May 30, 1953 to Morris and Marian Jacobs in Philadelphia, PA. She was a retired claims adjuster for MetLife Insurance Co. Ms. Merle was a devout supporter of the Vanderbilt University basketball and football programs; she was a member of the Executive Committee of the Coffee County Democratic Party; and she enjoyed creating stained glass pieces in her spare time. Ms. Merle was of the Jewish faith.

Ms. Merle is survived by her son, Mike Stein and his wife, Kim; grandchildren, Mariana Stein (16), and Fraea Stein (11); brother, Allen Jacobs, extended family members and a host of friends.

As per Ms. Merle's request, cremation was chosen and there are no services scheduled at this time.
