Mrs. Karon “Kelly” Sue Puttkammer, age 81, of Fayetteville, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, November 30, 2023, at her residence here in Manchester, surrounded by her loving daughters. She was born on Tuesday, June 9, 1942, in Red Cloud, Nebraska, the daughter of the late George and Mary (Wilson) Lanz.

Kelly was a faithful member of the Awaken Life Church in Fayetteville, where she served in any aspect of need. She was the “Queen of Hobbies” that could do or make anything she put her mind to. Crocheting was her favorite thing to do, but she also enjoyed knitting, sewing, and many other crafts. Kelly had a lot of musical talents and could play the bass and spoons. She always had room for learning new hobbies and talents. She was a very industrious person. She worked as an Administrative assistant in several different fields, event planner, and insurance agent. “Everyone who met her would comment on what a bright, uplifting, positive person she was. She lived a life of kindness and generosity.”

Mrs. Puttkammer is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Ellis, and Kimberly Shelton (husband Richard); grandchildren, Brandy Skipper, Steven Nicholas Saine, Mark Nicholas Hibdon, Alexis Wade, and Zoe Chandler; 18 great grandchildren; special friends of the Community of Rivendell Apartments, Latinya Jackson, Phyllis and Sanjaya Jackson, Lisa Maltby; many other friends. In addition to her parents Mrs. Kelly is preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Leslie James Puttkammer; daughter, Robin Shelton, who passed away on March 18, 1962; sisters, Marilyn Hamlet of East Tennessee, Linda Phillips of Barrington, Illinois.
