James Edward Davis

Funeral services for Mr. James Edward Davis, age 74 of Manchester, will be conducted at 2:00PM on Sunday, June 12, 2022, at Manchester Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends from 5:00PM until 8:00PM on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at the funeral home.  Mr. Davis passed suddenly from this life on Monday, June 6, 2022, at his residence in Manchester, TN.

James was born in Coffee County on March 23, 1948, the son of the late James Walter and Goldie Inez Davis.  James enjoyed watching Westerns and football, especially the University of Tennessee Vols.  He was an avid deer hunter, and loved spending time with his dogs, Spot and Smokey.  James was a loving and caring son, father, brother, and grandfather.

In addition to his parents, James is also preceded by one son, James Douglas Davis.  He is survived by his two brothers, Danny Davis and Rick Davis (Denise); one sister, Cathy Guess (Jim Morrow); three grandchildren, Cameron Rigsby (Cody), Cade Davis, and Chase Davis; one great-grandchild on the way.
