Obituary

Grant Evan Meeks, age 62 of Memphis, was born on July 31, 1960, to the late Thomas Earl and Nana Lou Hamby Meeks, in Memphis, TN. He is survived by his sister, Joy Yarbor and her husband, Fred; one niece, Brittany Holmes, and two great nieces, Tempi and Evelyn. Grant worked as a journeyman electrician for the IBEW Local 474 before his employment with the University of Memphis in the maintanance department, until his failing health.

Grant passed away on November 14 at Baptist Hospital East in Memphis after an extended illness. Services will be announced when information becomes available.
