Gary Sawyer Obituary

Gary George Sawyer, age 81 of Manchester, was born on May 2, 1940, in Jerusalem, Israel, to the late Peter and Gerti Sawyer. As a child, he loved to travel with his parents. After finishing school, Gary served in the Israeli military. He is known as a wonderful cook and his love for the computer. Although not having any children of his own, Gary took great joy in playing with the grandchildren of his wife, Jean.

Along with his wife, Jean Martinez, Gary is survived by stepchildren, Dean Woodward (Buffy), Bret Woodson (Arianna), Tammy Seals (Kerry), Anita Magdaleno (Juan), Juanita Rush (Kit), Tiffany Penaloza (Santiago), Alicia Woodward (David); 17 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren, and a host of friends.

The family has chosen cremation and there are no services scheduled at this time.
