Claudine Joy (Blake) Brown

Mrs. Claudine Joy Brown, age 88, of Bell Buckle, Tennessee, gained her wings and dancing shoes on Monday, September 4, 2023, at Ascension Saint Thomas Hospital in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Claudine was born on Saturday, January 26, 2023, in Arthur, Nebrasha, to the late Claude and Marjorie Callan Blake.

Mrs. Brown was the former owner of “Mrs. Brown’s Country Store” located in Beech Grove, Tennessee. She loved cooking and serving her community delicious country meals. Mrs. Brown was a member of the Hoover’s Gap Church in Christiana, Tennessee. Mrs. Brown was a wonderful lady who enjoyed life and made her family her number one priority. A close second was her animal friends, horses, dogs, cats, deer, racoons and squirrels. She loved all wildlife.

In addition to her parents Mrs. Brown is preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Albert Dean Brown who died September 2002; Brothers, Darrell Blake, Delbert Blake, and Willard Blake.

 Claudine is survived by her four children, two sons, Joe Brown of Wartrace, Tennessee and Jimmy Brown (Renee) of Manchester, Tennessee; her two daughters, Joyce M. Brown of Bell Buckle and Gina (Keith) Jones of Wartrace; one brother, Dale (Roberta) Blake of Danville, Nebraska; two grandchildren, Justin (Svenja) Brown of Catawba, North Carolina and Brandon Floyd of Wartrace; one great-grandchild, Scarlet Brown of Catawba North Carolina.

A Celebrations of Life will be held in memory of Claudine at Hoover's Gap Church on Saturday, September 16, 2023, staring at 11 AM until 2 PM.
