CORENA JOHNSON BRONSON

Ms. Corena Johnson Bronson, age 89 of Manchester, was born on September 16, 1934, to the late Thurman and Odessa Bodine Johnson, in Guntersville, AL. She was a homemaker and her love for reading was her one and only favorite pastime. But her greatest joy came from spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Corena is preceded in death by her first husband, and the father of her children, Daniel McCall, her second husband, Robert Bronson, and her daughter, Laura McCall Roberts. She is survived by her sons, Daniel McCall, and Jeff McCall and his wife, Leah; daughters, Susan McCall Minger and her husband, Mark, and Cathy McCall Veal, and her husband, Donnie; fourteen grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; brothers, Rayburn Johnson and his wife, Mitzi, and Frank Powers and his wife, Amy; several extended family members, and a host of friends.

As per Ms. Corena’s request, cremation was chosen and there are no services scheduled at this time. An inurnment will be announced at a later date.
