Audrey Lee Hutchins

Murfreesboro - Funeral services for Mrs. Audrey Lee Hutchins, age 87 of Murfreesboro, formerly of Manchester, will be conducted Friday, February 6, 2009 at 2:00 PM at the Manchester Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ralph Hart officiating. Burial will follow in the Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the Hutchins family will be Thursday evening from 4 to 8 PM and from 1 to 2 PM on Friday at Manchester Funeral Home. Mrs. Hutchins passed away Tuesday evening at Adams Place in Murfreesboro.
Mrs. Hutchins was born in Warren County, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Tom Lee Chisam and Nannie Elizabeth Webb Chisam. In earlier years, she worked as a seamstress at PCA Corporation and loved to read and cook. Mrs. Hutchins was a member of the Southside/Red Hill Church of Christ in Manchester. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, J.V. Hutchins, who passed away in 2005, two brothers, Mason Chisam and Ray Chisam, and one sister, Juanita Chisam Youngblood.
She is survived by one son, Doug (Brenda) Hutchins of Murfreesboro, TN; one brother- J.T. (Margaret) Chisam of McMinnville; one sister- Kathleen Hennessee of Manchester; grandchildren, Terri (Steve) Richardson, Christi (Darren) Welker, Tammy (Joe) Finch, all of Murfreesboro; Jennifer (Darrell) Moore of Westmoreland; 8 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Red Hill Church of Christ Mission or Building Fund.
